Get a Good Nights Sleep for Problem Solving

20 mins by The Python Experience |

A good night sleep allows your subconscious to work on the problems of the prior day that you faced. There are parts of your brain at work that you probably don't often think about, but are doing their job, relentlessly every day, whether you are awake or asleep. They're working for you so you don't have to, but their rules follow the harsher fight-or-flight realities of a different time in human history when one false move or too-slow of a reaction could get you killed. There's that, but there's also intuition and gut feelings and just "knowing" what's right, which comes from somewhere that is often very hard to explain with the rational mind, to which we have most ready access during the day. We don't know exactly why we do many of the things that we do, and if we remain in that state, we are closer to living out our lives in a less-self-deterministic way than humans are capable of becoming, and more like those other higher-form (usually) mammals that also have some degree of self-determinism, but not nearly on the order of what humans, with our fat prefrontal cortexes. Oh yeah, and the ability to code is part of the human state, which is closely related to literacy, which is closely related to being able to learn and speak a language at all. There are levels here, and coding in Python is definitely achieving one of those important levels above merely speaking, above merely the spoken-word literacy, and at the point were you can begin to knit together automations that on-average improve your life.
